8 Days for Housing: The Housing Authority of the City of Austin

This October, the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) reopened its Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List for the first time since 2006. To help spread the word about the pre-application period for the Waiting List reopening, and to make people aware about the online-only application process, lookthinkmake developed a comprehensive marketing and public relations effort to raise awareness. The 8 Days for Housing campaign was broad and personal simultaneously: billboards and bus ads were complemented by posters, business cards and social media.
