SIMS Foundation Benefit Bash Campaign Preview

Here’s a look at the work we’re doing with the SIMS Foundation. A non-profit that provides mental health and addiction recovery services to Austin-area musicians, SIMS tapped us to help out with the promotion of their upcoming Benefit Bash. We’re thrilled to help. We’ve been asked to create a look, vibe, and voice, which will be crafted into multiple media pieces, like the ones above.

Art City Austin: A Call For Artists
It’s call for artists time for the 2011 edition of Art City Austin, Downtown’s Art Festival. We were tasked with helping our good friends at Art Alliance Austin get the word out to artists. Here’s the result: a simple mark and concept to be distributed through multiple media channels. Oh, and if you want to apply, visit artallianceaustin.org for the details.
Plum Creek – Life All Around, literally
When you buy a house in Plum Creek, you discover that there’s a world of stuff to do right in the neighborhood. So we took the literal route. And liked what happened.
Art City Austin: Austin Monthly Ad
Part print ad about the vibrancy of Austin’s amazing downtown art festival, part giant sculptural collage built on the wall of the studio, that was then photographed for print.
Risher Martin Postcard
Interactive direct mail postcards that show off RisherMartin’s great interiors, and transform—when scissors are handy— into reminder / business cards.

Art Week Austin Print Campaign
“Together We Make” was the tagline for 2010’s Art Week Austin. So we took photographs and paintings (done in-house) of iconic Austin buildings and wove them together to demonstrate the coming together of art and the city. Here’s a couple of them: a postcard depicting City Hall, and a print ad featuring the State Capitol. It was a cool, get-your-hands-dirty process.
