Bedsider

The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy developed Bedsider.org, a free, online birth control support network that helps women ages 18 to 29 get on top of their sex life — and their birth control choices. Using fun, flirty communications and a call for self-empowerment, Bedsider reaches women in a social setting.
Bedsider came to lookthinkmake with a strong brand identity guide created by San Francisco-based creative firm IDEO. Expanding on the work of IDEO and the Bedsider.org team, lookthinkmake developed and launched a pilot program targeting women in Austin.
lookthinkmake developed and implemented a brand tagline and original traditional and non-traditional event materials. The event-rich grassroots campaign included everything from conversations with local influencers to a branded launch with an ice cream truck at Fun Fun Fun Fest.
The results? Bedsider.org saw an increase in web sign-ups, a surge in social media engagement and the creation of a Bedsider student group at the University of Texas at Austin.
Plum Creek’s Rock the Porch
After five years of working with Plum Creek, the New Urbanist community located in Kyle, Texas and our first official client, LTM sought out to do something fresh and exciting for the neighborhood. So, we launched a grassroots campaign called Rock the Porch that engages the community and the surrounding city. This public art initiative will bring 15 artistic rocking chairs by 15 local artists, groups and individuals to the public spaces of the neighborhood and the City of Kyle by the end of summer 2013.
Plum Creek is a place where neighbors are friends, and there are spaces for you to live, work and play, all within walking distance from home. These rocking chairs are the manifestation of this sentiment – designed to provoke thoughts of what it means to be a neighbor and to inspire conversations among neighbors – and will help create spaces for people to engage and interact with each other, the artwork itself and the areas in which they will be placed.
2012 Young Masters

The 2012 Young Masters is an event held by the Texas Cultural Trust to honor the most promising high school artists in Texas. Awards in the form of scholarships and mentorships were given to fifteen young artists in categories including Film, Dance, Visual Art, Theatre, and Music. To promote the event, held at Austin’s Stateside at the Paramount, we created an integrated targeted campaign based on the theme, “Primed for Greatness,” including state-wide print, collateral, digital banners, public relations, and event production visuals.

THE AUSTONIAN
The Austonian, a beacon of incredible luxury in the center of Austin, asked LTM to shepherd the brand in 2011. Our task: grow the current brand through national and international channels using print and digital media, and support the brand through sales collateral. We’re happy to oblige. And it’s the sweetest place to have a meeting in all of Austin.

A non-profit that provides mental health and addiction recovery services to Austin-area musicians, SIMS tapped us to help out with the promotion of their upcoming Benefit Bash. We’re thrilled to help. We’ve been asked to create a look, vibe, and voice, which will be crafted into multiple media pieces, like the ones above.
