Art Alliance Austin’s Cityswatch App

Austin is full of color. Art Alliance Austin wanted to invite Austinites to get involved with art by finding the art all around them in the city and tell Austin’s color story. In order to do this, we created a mobile app called Cityswatch, allowing users to snap photos around town, create a color swatch and upload it onto an online gallery. Check out the demo below and download the app today.

Big Wigs 2011

Ads don’t make themselves. It takes more than an agency to bring ideas to life.  The Big Wigs Awards were created by the Austin Ad Federation to thank all of the people that help bring great creative to life, from printers and radio reps to secretaries and interns. So we created sets of industry-friendly Thank You cards, supported by branded digital collateral, to promote the 2011 event. Display them. Pass them around. Give your team the props they deserve. And then go make a night of it, Big Wigs style.

PLUM CREEK MARKETING WALL

Plum Creek opened a brand new Marketing Center to help inform potential buyers about all the great things going on down there. They asked us to tell the story of Plum Creek on one wall. With all of the -ings going on down there, we decided the only way to really show what Plum Creek was all about was to show as much of it as we could. We ended up with a huge collage and happy clients.

ART ALLIANCE AUSTIN COLOR SWATCHES

Art makes a city. And in Austin, it makes a rather colorful city thanks to Art Alliance Austin. We gathered images from several past Art Alliance Austin events and initiatives and put them together in color swatches to build an overall campaign for the 2011 season. The campaign spanned all media: oversized takeaway swatches, event programs, outdoor, online, social media, mobile, magazine, newspaper, tickets, installations, you name it. We also created an iPhone app so that people could get involved and create their own swatches from their favorite parts of the city.

Art Alliance Austin has a huge story to tell. And a color story felt just right.

Art Alliance Austin Donation Cans

Sometimes art needs a little bit of help. So we created some cool paint-style cans for people to throw some green Art Alliance Austin’s way. They tend to get pretty full.

RisherMartin Job Site Signage

Anybody can hang a shingle out front. But only RisherMartin can do one like this. They’re so good at what they do, they fabricated it themselves. You should see what they can do with kitchens.

What’s a Go20?

Social Media: Go20 is a microsite developed for Plum Creek. With 1500+ residents already living in Plum Creek, this is the perfect opportunity to allow them to advocate for their own neighborhood.

Art City Austin: Color Strips

Here’s a modular woven take on art communication. Is it a poster? An outdoor board? Interactive guerilla? We’re not sure, but we’re sure about a few other things. It’s flexible. It’s different. It’s pop art, woven into the fabric of the city. People could take a piece—or a picture. And it’s all about Art City Austin’s concept: together we make.

Art Week Austin Color Strip Poster

Art should grab you. So we did an Art Week Austin poster that does the same. Here, color strips go dimensional, weaving themselves into the bottom of the poster.

TOGS 3: Modular Postcards

TOGS Notecards Demo on Vimeo.

Social Media: TOGS stands for Temporary Outdoor Gallery Space and is an internationally reaching contest among architects. We developed an interactive postcard, created a video using the hook-together cards, and hosted it on Vimeo.  The video was shared world wide – but the resulting submissions were the real stars.

Yep, we handle all the management, concoct the ideas, and ensure smart strategy and timely delivery. Sheesh, what more could you want? A cheesecake? Well, OK. As long as we get to sample a few first.
