Brand Patterns

When we develop a brand identity, we make sure it has staying power. That means creating logo-based patterns that can be used as brand-centric graphics that can work anywhere. On the web. On paper. As textiles. As wallpaper. Throughout collateral and packaging systems. And throughout architecture. Here are but a few:

Brand Identities

Naming, logo creation, color palettes. We’re all about it. Branding is one of our favorite activities, and one of the most important. It’s the core of your business after all. Ours too.

Here are a few of the identities we’ve created for our clients.

Denizen Identity

Polished and eclectic—in a quirky 04 kind of way. That’s The Denizen, a new residential project that we’ve been tapped to brand.

The Denizen is another visionary project in the 78704 from Terry Mitchell. One with an authenticity that very few new developments can claim. Cousins to The Austonian, The Denizen serves central-Austinites with a high-end and welcoming place to call home, at below-market price-tag.

We took inspiration from the surrounding area and created a brand that encompasses the sophisticated vibe of the project, the texture of the city, and a blend of vintage and modern, and a healthy dose of wit.

PLUM CREEK MARKETING WALL

Plum Creek opened a brand new Marketing Center to help inform potential buyers about all the great things going on down there. They asked us to tell the story of Plum Creek on one wall. With all of the -ings going on down there, we decided the only way to really show what Plum Creek was all about was to show as much of it as we could. We ended up with a huge collage and happy clients.

MADISON RESIDENTIAL ADVISORS

Madison Residential Advisors, an Austin-based development firm, was in the market for a clean and crisp identity. And we were happy to oblige.

PLUM CREEK GOLF COURSE

What makes a good spring project? How about golf course branding? Plum Creek wanted us to rebrand their course, with a nod to the current community look and feel. And they wanted the rebrand to center around a mark that works for signage, merchandising, architecture, wallpaper, you name it. We went with a flexible solution that’s equal parts monogram and movement.

ART ALLIANCE AUSTIN 2011 INITIATIVE

2011. It’s huge. A great convergence of art events happened in Austin in the Spring of 2011. So Art Alliance Austin wanted to capture the grandness and importance of the year, and the idea of connectivity, in its membership outreach. We put together a graphic point of view that encompassed a Holiday/New Year’s invitation card, a season collector badge, print, online, and membership collateral. And here are a few samples.

Dust Magnet logo

Gravitational pull brought us together. Dust Magnet, a new and enterprising Austin commercial cleaning company, gave us a ring and asked for a logo and identity. We went for a simple, iconic, and demonstrative D and some clean, supporting type.

Art City Austin: A Call For Artists

It’s call for artists time for the 2011 edition of Art City Austin, Downtown’s Art Festival. We were tasked with helping our good friends at Art Alliance Austin get the word out to artists. Here’s the result: a simple mark and concept to be distributed through multiple media channels. Oh, and if you want to apply, visit artallianceaustin.org for the details.

Risher Martin Identity

lookthinkmake, llc

Yep, we handle all the management, concoct the ideas, and ensure smart strategy and timely delivery. Sheesh, what more could you want? A cheesecake? Well, OK. As long as we get to sample a few first.
