PLUM CREEK MARKETING WALL

Plum Creek opened a brand new Marketing Center to help inform potential buyers about all the great things going on down there. They asked us to tell the story of Plum Creek on one wall. With all of the -ings going on down there, we decided the only way to really show what Plum Creek was all about was to show as much of it as we could. We ended up with a huge collage and happy clients.

SIMS 2011 BENEFIT BASH

We like happy music. We like happy musicians even more. Which is why, for the second year in a row, we’ve been honored to help create the look and feel for the SIMS Foundation Benefit Bash. With Grupo Fantasma as the headliner, we decided to add a little Latin flair to the brand. The result was posters, eblasts, tickets and even auction paddles that echoed the fun and vibrancy of the event’s music, and the uplifting message and mission of the SIMS Foundation.

Austin Film Festival

Each year, the Austin Film Festival champions the work of aspiring and established writers and filmmakers by enhancing public awareness of their craft through a number of unique cultural events including film premieres, panels, conferences and Q & A sessions.

In 2008 and 2009, we handled the public relations for the 16th and 17th annual Austin Film Festivals, securing a number of media placements both regionally and nationally. In 2009, Moviemaker Magazine named the Austin Film Festival one of the top 25 film festivals worth the entry fee, calling it a “preeminent venue for screenwriters” and “one of the industry’s most respected writing competitions.”

For the past two years, we have led PR efforts for independent films at the Austin Film Festival.

“Sironia” Premieres to Sold-Out Crowd at Austin Film Festival

The Texas-made film “Sironia” debuted at the 2011 Austin Film Festival as the headliner for the Texas Independent Series to a sold out crowd and won the Texas Independent Audience Award.

Inspired by the music of singer-songwriter Wes Cunningham, “Sironia” is the story of a talented musician who has been chewed up and spit out by the Hollywood music machine. Frustrated by his broken career, Thomas Fisher and his wife Molly impulsively pack up and move to small town Sironia, Texas to live a more authentic life and raise their first child near Molly’s brother and his family. Despite the change of scenery, Thomas’s deep resentment over his lost dreams gets the best of him as he struggles to find peace with his stalled career, until he remembers what he loved about music – and Molly – in the first place.

Promoting the film during AFF was a blast for our team. Several highlights of press coverage follow:

ART ALLIANCE AUSTIN COLOR SWATCHES

Art makes a city. And in Austin, it makes a rather colorful city thanks to Art Alliance Austin. We gathered images from several past Art Alliance Austin events and initiatives and put them together in color swatches to build an overall campaign for the 2011 season. The campaign spanned all media: oversized takeaway swatches, event programs, outdoor, online, social media, mobile, magazine, newspaper, tickets, installations, you name it. We also created an iPhone app so that people could get involved and create their own swatches from their favorite parts of the city.

Art Alliance Austin has a huge story to tell. And a color story felt just right.

PLUM CREEK GOLF COURSE

What makes a good spring project? How about golf course branding? Plum Creek wanted us to rebrand their course, with a nod to the current community look and feel. And they wanted the rebrand to center around a mark that works for signage, merchandising, architecture, wallpaper, you name it. We went with a flexible solution that’s equal parts monogram and movement.

EDGEWICK ANNOUNCES A NEW DOG PARK

Dogs shouldn’t be cooped up inside. Edgewick knows this, so they added a dog park to their community space. We also know this, so we let a dog take over a billboard. The wind really liked playing with its floppy ears.

THE AUSTONIAN

The Austonian, a beacon of incredible luxury in the center of Austin, asked LTM to shepherd the brand in 2011. Our task: grow the current brand through national and international channels using print and digital media, and support the brand through sales collateral. We’re happy to oblige. And it’s the sweetest place to have a meeting in all of Austin.
